Pingry's students join a legacy of artists who have won Scholastic awards, including Andy Warhol, Sylvia Plath, Truman Capote, Richard Avedon, Robert Redford, and Ken Burns. The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to identify students with exceptional artistic and literary talent.
